1983 – 1986 : Radio Work (Deutsche Welle, Indonesian Section) and journalism for Indonesia
1986 : moved to Paris and married Michel Picard, member of CNRS
1986 – 1990 free lance journalism for Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia, Textile magazines USA and Germany
1990 – 1991 research assistant for photo show ‘Towards Independence : A Century of Indonesia Photographed and author of ‘Tassilo Adams, the Photographer as Cultural Observer in accompanying book Ansel Adams Center for Photography, San Francisco October 1991 for Festival of Indonesia in USA.
